what we have to offer
Village Hall FacilitiesThe Main Hall
The main hall has seen it all - from epic dance-offs to brainy conferences, dramatic plays to melodic music nights, stunning art displays to high-rolling casinos, and of course, fairy tale wedding receptions. Trust us, this place can steal the spotlight like no other!
Whether you're on a quest for a serene spot to zen out during a yoga session or gearing up for an all-night dance-a-thon with a rockin' DJ or a jazzy 20-piece swing band, you've hit the jackpot! Our hall can accommodate up to 120 party animals standing or 80 seated. No matter your shindig's style, we've got your back with dazzling lighting, tables, and chairs that'll make your event pop!
Grace McMurray Lounge
The newest addition to the hall, the Grace McMurray Lounge is perfect for smaller gatherings, or can be booked in addition to the hall if you’re looking for a place where people can go to get a bit of a break from the party, or perhaps even used as a cocktail and whisky lounge. The lounge, named after one of our village residents, would be the perfect place to host a coffee morning, run a wine tasting night or even just to have an informal meeting with colleagues or clients.
The Grace Lounge has a cosy feel, with newly laid wooden flooring, soft lighting, plants and some lovely little features - think Scandi meets Brookfield. Whatever your function needs, we’re sure Grace will not disappoint.

Public Access Defibrillator
A defibrillator is available 24 hours a day, and is located on the outside wall of the Village Hall, adjacent to the main entrance.
Bowling Green & Tennis Courts
Bowling Green
Brookfield Bowling Club was founded in 1901 and was initially known as the Brookfield Bowling and Croquet Club. By 1909, the croquet lawn had become a tennis court and the club was then known as the Brookfield Bowling & Tennis Club. However, the Bowling & Tennis Club was disbanded in 1973, when the new hall was built and separate clubs were formed. The playing season runs from early April until late September. Ladies and Gents mixed competitions are held on Thursdays, Fridays Saturdays. The Ladies play on their own on Tuesday afternoons and the Gents play on Tuesday evenings.
Tennis Courts
The Tennis courts operate from April to October. There are two blaes courts which are maintained by the club members. It is not affiliated to the SLTA and is for social tennis only. There are designated periods for Gents and Ladies play. Various tournaments are played throughout the season.
